A Systematic Cooperation Method for In-Car Navigation Based on Future Time Windows

Traffic congestion has become a severe problem, af-fecting travellers both mentally and economically. To al-leviate traffic congestion, this paper proposes method using concept of future time windows to estimate the state road network for navigation. Through our method, we can travel not only based on current state, but that ve-hicles will arrive in future. test conduct experiments Simulation Urban MO-bility (SUMO). The experimental results show proposed significantly reduce overall all vehicles, compared benchmark Dijkstra algorithm. We also Dynamic User Equilibrium (DUE) provided by SUMO. performance is little better than DUE. In practice, takes less computation insensitive low driver compliance: with as 40% compliance rate, im-prove efficiency unsignalised network. verify effectiveness signalised It demonstrates assign efficiently.
